Norwich based Sash Window Preservation recently undertook sash window repairs in Duxford for the Imperial War Museum.
Sash Window Preservation undertook an extensive 16-week project at Duxford War Imperial Museum Officer’s Mess carrying out 180-sash window repairs on behalf of SDC. The main areas of work required were the replacement of hardwood window sills and sashes. Great care and attention was shown by our chaps on site to ensure that the work was carried out to the highest standard.
It was a real pleasure to work on a property with such heritage and nostalgia. It is certainly a project where the sash window repairs will live long in the memory for all involved.
